Mike and Nestor Carbonell have joined the cast of A&E’s upcoming series “Bates Motel”, which serves as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcocks’ horror classic “Psycho”, in recurring roles. The series examines the twisted relationship between serial-killer-to-be Norman (Freddie Highmore) and his mother Norma (Vera Varmiga).
Carbonell will play Sheriff Alex Romero, who has something almost sinister about him. Vogel will play Deputy Zack Shelby, described as a “completely engaging, attractive, intelligent sociopath”.
