“Sex/Life” season 2 is about to get even steamier. After premiering last June, the provocative series had viewers sweating all summer. Get ready to do it all over again because new recurring cast members will be joining the upcoming season, including Craig Bierko (“UnREAL”), Cleo Anthony (“She’s Gotta Have It”), Darius Homayoun (“Succession”), Dylan Bruce (“Orphan Black”) and Wallis Day (“Batwoman”).
Don’t worry — your favorite series regulars will also be back to heat things up. Sarah Shahi (Billie Connelly), Mike Vogel (Cooper Connelly), Adam Demos (Brad Simon) and Margaret Odette (Sasha Snow) will continue the drama and entangled love triangle of last season.
Inspired by the book 44 Chapters About 4 Men by BB Easton, “Sex/Life” follows Billie, a restless suburban wife and mother, as she revisits the fantasies and desires of her past. “Sex/Life” is a dream come true”, creator and showrunner Stacy Rukeyser told Deadline back in September. “To create a show about empowered female sexuality that has entranced so many millions of viewers is not only immensely fun but also incredibly gratifying”.
When we last saw Billie, she was at a crossroads in her life, but ultimately felt empowered to make a shocking decision. (Spoiler alert…) After Billie made progress in her rocky marriage with Cooper, the finale ended with a major cliff-hanger — she went back to her ex-boyfriend, Brad. What does this mean for her marriage? Will we be getting more of that shower scene that had everyone talking (and pausing) last summer? Only time will tell, but with its new and returning cast, we already know “Sex/Life” season 2 is going to be the full package.
